Welcome to Engineering UTC Northern Lincolnshire

The ENL UTC Sixth Form operates a longer working day which reflects the business approach at the heart of our ethos. Having the time to delve more deeply into academic, technical and practical studies and industry-based projects ultimately provide you with the support, confidence and attitude when taking the next steps towards your future career.

Your college week is designed to support part time work alongside studies and works across four days of studies.

During these four days you will adhere to ‘business hours’ with allocated office time throughout the week to concentrate on industry-based projects, coursework & revision.

No matter the pathway you choose to take beyond Sixth Form, our curriculum has been designed to help you get there.

Enrichment Activities

Show all activities
We have a wealth of after-school and lunch time activities at the UTC. The following list is not exhaustive, with our students welcomed to create their own clubs and activities. Alongside this programme of activities, students are able to become STEM Leaders, supporting our Primary School initiative – Generation Net Zero, and North Lincs Discover. Students are encouraged to sign up for Loyal Leaders, to support Open Evenings, as well as mini-projects and competitions across the UTC. Lunchtime competitions such as Chess and Connect 4 are ongoing throughout the year. Days and timings for clubs will be advertised around the UTC as well as in our Monday Morning round up. All clubs need to be booked in advance, students, or their parents/carers can do this via their Bromcom/MCAS apps. All students must sign in to after-school activities at main reception.
