Enrichment Activities

At Fortis Academy Sixth Form, enrichment is at the heart of our commitment to developing Character, Resilience, and Aspiration in every student. We believe education is about more than just academic achievement—it's about shaping well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the challenges of the future. Our enrichment activities provide opportunities to build leadership, enhance personal skills, and broaden horizons, helping students grow in confidence and ambition. Through experiences both inside and outside the classroom, we equip our students with the resilience to overcome obstacles and the aspiration to reach their full potential.

Subject Ambassadors

Sixth Form students who work closely with teachers in lessons, supporting both staff and peers. This role enhances leadership and communication skills while deepening subject knowledge.

Edge Captains

Representatives from each form group who take an active role in the wider school community, helping to lead initiatives and give students a voice in school-wide activities.

Additional Learning Activities

Students have the opportunity to take part in online courses from platforms like Open Learn and Future Learn, expanding their knowledge in areas of interest beyond the classroom.

Trips and Visits

Students enrich their learning with real-world experiences through visits related to their studies, both in the UK and abroad, giving students practical insights and hands-on exposure to different fields.

Senior Student Council

Our senior student leaders who represent the entire student body. They work closely with school leadership, organise events, and act as role models, helping to foster a positive school culture.
