Welcome to The Lea Valley Academy
Welcome to Lea Valley Academy! Lea Valley Academy offers a broad and inspiring post-16 education to all students, with a wide range of courses and enrichment opportunities. We value learning both inside and outside the classroom, and want all of our students to not only leave Lea Valley Academy with the academic qualifications they need for their chosen destinations, but also having experienced a range of cultural and social enrichment opportunities that prepare them well for life after Sixth Form. As we are part of The Edmonton Academy Trust we are able to offer a more comprehensive and diverse curriculum across both schools. Our students can choose options from both Lea Valley Academy and/or Edmonton County School. Our Sixth Form students are at the heart of the Academy and we are committed to providing each student with outstanding learning experiences to ensure they are equipped with the skills and academic and social grounding needed to fulfil their potential and pursue their future pathway. Life in the Lea Valley Academy Sixth Form is based on a partnership with our students and their teachers. Each young person is responsible for their own learning, with our teachers there to guide them, to ensure that their potential is realised. They will become aspirational role models for our younger students, finding fulfilment in being involved in the life of the Academy and our community in its entiretyWe work in partnership with parents and carers to fully support our students and prepare them for the next stage in their lives, whether this be at university or through an apprenticeship programme for their chosen career. The key for us as an Academy is to open new horizons and share possibilities to enable each young person to create their individual life journey. We are proud of our Academy and we ensure that we strive to gain year on year success for every young person. Thank you for taking the time to consider Lea Valley Academy Sixth Form for one of the most important stages in your life. We hope that you can find the information that you need in our prospectus and at our Open Evening to see how we can make the difference to your future education and life goals.
