Welcome to Winterbourne Academy School Sixth Form.Whether you leave Winterbourne Academy after seven years or only two, our hope is that you leave the Sixth Form happy, healthy, and thriving—ready to make a positive contribution to society and take on the next stage of your adult life with confidence. Winterbourne is a large and vibrant Sixth Form where you’ll be encouraged to work hard— both in lessons and independently—while also making the most of the many opportunities available to you. This is your time to challenge yourself, grow as a person, build lifelong friendships, and enjoy the transition into adulthood. We are proud to be an inclusive community where every student is valued, supported and encouraged to succeed. You’ll be part of a culture where differences are respected, and everyone feels that they belong. We also encourage you to take full advantage of our student leadership opportunities— whether that’s through becoming a Sixth Form ambassador, mentoring younger students, contributing to the student council, as house captain or through leading clubs and events. Your voice, ideas, and actions are key to shaping a positive and inspiring Sixth Form experience for all.
