Welcome to Frederick Holmes School

Frederick Holmes School is a community special school catering for pupils with severe physical/ learning disabilities and those with profound and multiple needs aged 2-19.

It is a school where all children are valued and all staff strive to deliver an inspirational curriculum in a supportive and caring environment. We welcome children and their parents and carers into a friendly, hardworking school where respect for others, positive attitudes and independence are nurtured and each child is given the opportunity to flourish and reach their potential.

We are based in a fantastic purpose built building. We have excellent facilities to meet the needs of all our pupils including a hydrotherapy pool, rebound room, soft play and sensory rooms.

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to everyone who accesses this website. Whether you are looking for information on the curriculum, this week’s lunch menu, or term dates, you should find all the information you need.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact the school directly.

We are a member of the Humber Education Trust (HET). Frederick Holmes School policies are in the policy section on this website, further HET policies can be found on the HET website.

The Humber Education Trust Website can be found here.

If you require a paper copy of any of the school documentation found on the website, please contact Reception.
