Enrichment Activities

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum at Addington Valley Academy and we look to cater for our student’s interests and hobbies, as well as introducing them to new experiences.

Theme Days
We organise theme days throughout the year, such as science day, health and wellbeing day and sports day.
Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons for every student in the school on a rota basis.
Cycling Proficiency
Cycling as offered at school and there are opportunities to take part in cycle proficiency.
Lunchtime Clubs
A variety of games and clubs are available to join and play at lunchtime – these include: football, yoga, sensory circuits, tag games, skipping, parachute games, Lego and music.
Sporting Competitions
We participate in local sporting competitions, both inter and intra-school.
Outdoor Learning
We offer a range of outdoor learning experiences that utilises our wonderful grounds.
