Welcome to The Tower School
HeadteacherWelcome to The Tower School, an independent specialist provision dedicated to nurturing the potential of neurodivergent young people aged 11-18. We are proud to offer a supportive and inclusive environment for 62 pupils, each uniquely talented and often presenting with co-occurring, complex needs. Most of our pupils have a diagnosis of autism and all hold an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP). At The Tower School, we believe in the power of education tailored to the individual. We accept referrals from all Local Authorities and offer the flexibility for pupils to enrol at any time, ensuring that every young person receives the education they deserve when they need it most. Our commitment to successful outcomes begins with creating an inclusive, safe, and positive school experience. We fully endorse the Outcome First Group’s strategy of ‘Ask, Accept, Develop’. This means we:Ask pupils and their families how best to support their learning journey.Accept and cherish their neurodiversity and unique styles of working.Develop their skills, concepts, attitudes, and knowledge to foster growth and independence. The foundation of our approach is personal development, which lies at the heart of our curriculum. Our formal academic pathways are enriched by life skill development, all delivered within a calm and therapeutic environment. This ensures that our pupils are not only academically prepared but also equipped with essential skills for life beyond school. We invite you to explore our website and learn more about the vibrant community at The Tower School. We are excited to be a part of your child’s educational journey and look forward to working closely with you to support their development.Natalie AikenActing HeadteacherThe Tower School
