Sixth Form Induction Day – Wednesday 1st July We are delighted to invite you to attend your St Mary’s Sixth Form Induction Day on Wednesday 1st July.This is a key milestone in your transition to Sixth Form, and an exciting opportunity to experience a genuine “day in the life” of a St Mary’s Sixth Former. The day is designed to ensure you feel confident, prepared and inspired ahead of September.You will follow a bespoke timetable, including taster lessons in your chosen subjects enabling you to experience Sixth Form learning, understand the step up from GCSE, and confirm your subject choices.Throughout the day, you will also:hear from Mr Noble (Director of Sixth Form) and Ms McHugh (Headteacher) on our vision for your successmeet and speak with current Year 12 students (including the Head Pupil team and House Captains)explore our enrichment programme and wider Sixth Form opportunitiesexperience our Sixth Form café and catering offerKey InformationRegistration: 8:40am in the School Hall (enter via the main student entrance on Great Hadham Road)Dress Code: male students: suit with shirt and tie, and formal black or brown shoesfemale students: suit jacket with trousers or an appropriate-length skirt, with smart blouse/shirt and formal shoes What to bring: Stationery; a laptop/device (if you have one)Food & Drink: Our catering partners, Aspens, will be offering a range of options at break and lunch time, available for you to purchase - or feel free to bring your own in.Finish time: 3:15pmWe very much look forward to welcoming you into our Sixth Form family.
