Welcome to St Michael's Catholic School
Welcome to St Michael’s Catholic School Sixth Form. I am proud to be the head of such a vibrant and diverse Sixth Form Community. We are a Sixth Form of high and unwavering standards of teaching, conduct and spiritual growth. Our vision is to ensure all students achieve their full potential, guided by our faith in them with support and love to become contributing members of our community. Here at St Michaels we aim to look after a student’s whole well-being: Their mind through quality first teaching allowing all to achieve academic excellence. Their body by ensuring healthy living is at the forefront of what we do during our robust PSHCE curriculum and School Games. Their Soul – as we continue to show each and every student that we have faith in their abilities, all studying Core RE and completing an Extended Project Qualification. The most valuable resource within our Sixth Form Community is the students who comprise its number. They are impressive in their study and inspiring in their drive, energy and passion. The characteristics that I see in them are admirable, those of charity, mutual respect and social justice whilst providing excellent role models to the younger years as Guardians of our Faith. While St Michael’s is a Catholic School, we welcome individuals of all religious and non-religious backgrounds and encourage all our students to achieve the fullness of life, each and every day. I am proud of our Sixth Form students and all that they achieve and for the outstanding individuals that they are growing to become.
