If you need specific information, feel free to pick up the phone to speak directly with me at any time. The learning community at Ysgol Dyffryn Amman is effective, diverse and inclusive. One of our strengths is the broad curriculum provided here. The caring support and expert advice given to each individual when setting them on their individual learning path can facilitate a successful and prosperous future for each of them. The school's motto is "Respect each one who lives his task". We believe that through hard work and continuous effort, every individual can reach their full potential. We are committed as a school to creating a stimulating and challenging atmosphere that will provide the best opportunities to enable our pupils to flourish. Teamwork is key in order to do this. We try to ensure that our pupils gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to work independently, as well as the skills to work together with others in order to prepare them for growing into respectful and effective citizens. We must set high expectations for ourselves. Inevitably therefore, everyone who is interested in the future of our pupils must play their part. By working together - as a school, parents, governors, authority and wider community, we can aim to provide the best education for our pupils, and offer them the pastoral and moral support that will sustain and inspire them throughout their lives. It is important that every pupil makes the most of every opportunity and commits to being great ambassadors for the school and the community - whether on the sports field, on the performance stage, in the world of science and technology, or of course, on the classroom floor. We support the personal development of each pupil, equipping them with the knowledge, skills and values to enable them to step confidently into the future.
