Welcome Message

Bishop Challoner Sixth Form is a high-achieving and wonderful place where every student is welcomed and loved. With over 90 years of service to the East End community, we have a proud tradition of helping students choose the right next steps at universities and the job market.

Our dedicated Sixth Form staff are here to transform lives. This is something you will notice from your very first day. They go beyond service to ensuring that you feel happy, safe, and secure, growing in God’s love at all times to focus on learning and achieving goals. Catholic Schools Inspectorate 2023 report, said “Staff are positive role models for pupils, shown through their relationships with each other and the supportive pastoral care they provide for pupils.”

All students are encouraged to become active members of their community and get involved with the numerous extra-curricular clubs and activities that we offer including:

Common Good

As a Catholic community our students are encouraged to support both local and national causes. We annually support and raise funds for a Christmas present appeal for the St Francis Family Centre in Poplar.

Insights Lecture Series

The Insights Lecture Series is a speaker programme designed to challenge, stretch and inspire our students. Each year we host talks on a diverse range of topics such as science, law and the media. “The school hosts a lecture series with external speakers. These cover a diverse range of topics, such as science, law and the media.” - Ofsted 2021

Visits & Trips

We know that a full programme of visits and trips is a vital way of supplementing what our students learn in the classroom. Trips include international destinations like Rome, Berlin and Poland, as well as trips within London and elsewhere within the UK.
