Welcome to Stretton Shires School
We are a small independent day school set in Stretton village in the heart of Rutland, offering specialist secondary education for pupils aged 11-19 years old.
At Stretton Shires School, we are committed to helping every young person become a Curious, Courageous, Communicator and Confident learner – our “Four Cs.” We create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
Through exploration of the natural world, human behaviour, and social and cultural environments, pupils gain a deeper understanding of themselves and others. We support each child to thrive academically, emotionally and socially as part of a kind, ambitious, and inclusive school community.
