We wish you a very warm welcome to George Mitchell All-Through School. George Mitchell School is a popular and successful All-through school educating children across three phases: Early Years, Primary and Secondary.
George Mitchell is a school with great strengths. We are a community school at the heart of our neighbourhood. Students are eager to learn and take pride in their school. Our Pastoral provision is second to none: our school is a haven where children feel safe, happy and highly valued as individuals. Students are encouraged and supported to excel in all areas.

Enrichment Activities
Show all activitiesWe aim to provide our students with a wide range of trips throughout the year, to enrich and extend their experience of the curriculum.
Children in Years 10 and 11 have the chance to take part in our Duke of Edinburgh Award programme. This challenging award includes an expedition and long term volunteering, amongst other requirements.
We buy in to the full Waltham Forest Sports offer and take part in a huge range of events, including sports festivals and inter-school competitions.
