On behalf of the pupils, parents and staff of Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen, I warmly welcome you to our school website.Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen is a bilingual school with a population of 875 pupils, 51 members of teaching staff and 34 support staff. We serve our local community which comprises of the town of Caernarfon and the surrounding rural areas.AimYsgol Syr Hugh Owen is committed to providing an outstanding education where all pupils are motivated to strive for success.We aim to support pupils in achieving their potential across a range of academic and vocational subjects, focusing on the development of their skills in literacy, numeracy and information technology.
