Welcome to Sandside Lodge School Special School
Sandside Lodge School is a special school catering for students aged between four and nineteen who have an Education Health and Care Plan. All our students have severe learning difficulties and additional needs such as Autism, physical difficulties, hearing or vision impaired and communication differences. We cater for all needs with a highly personalised approach to learning.
We have a wonderful new school building that we moved into in September 2019 and this has allowed us to expand the range of approaches and support we can offer our fantastic students.

Sandside Lodge School is lucky to fantastic support from our local town, Ulverston. We utilise our local facilities for a variety of learning opportunities as part of our varied curriculum. We also have invaluable support from our local businesses when organising our work experience placements for our students.
Our broad and balanced curriculum has been designed to support the students to reach their full potential.
