Year 12 ● Unit 1: Principles and Applications of Science covers topics including cell biology, cell specialization, and tissue function and structure. - Chemistry covers atomic structure, structure, and bonding in applications in science and patterns in chemical behavior and reactivity. - Physics covers waves and how these are used in communication in the modern world, including the use of Bluetooth and mobile phones. ● Unit 2: Practical Scientific Procedures and Techniques covers a range of techniques and learners will be introduced to quantitative laboratory techniques, calibration, chromatography, calorimetry, and laboratory safety, which are relevant to the chemical and life science industries.
