Course summary

Building on skills developed on the Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations, you will learn about health and safety, principles of engineering and mechanical manufacturing engineering. You will also learn key engineering skills such as machining materials by turning, milling and grinding. This is a popular course for students wishing to develop practical skills for a career in advanced manufacturing. On this course, you will learn about engineering principles, delivery of engineering processes safely, engineering product design and manufacture and computer-aided design (CAD) in engineering, electronic devices and circuits and principles of fluid mechanics.
