Course summary

Media Studies is a fantastic subject, especially with the increasing array of different platforms within the Media that can be used. The course covers topics including; advertising, film, television, radio and many other platforms, providing you with the knowledge to work in any of these fields. WHAT WILL I BE LEARNING? Students will study media language, representation, media industries and audiences in music videos, video games, print and TV advertising, film marketing, newspapers, radio, television, magazines and blogs. WHAT SKILLS WILL I DEVELOP? You will develop skills in analysis and interpretation of media techniques, as well as creative, technical and communication skills.
