Course summary

Physics is listed by Russell Group Universities as being a facilitating subject, meaning it is one of the subjects which can give you the most options after A Level. A Level Physics builds on core GCSE understanding of forces and motion and introduces exciting new areas of study such as quantum mechanics, thermal physics and astrophysics. You will be expected to keep a laboratory notebook to record practical activities. Accurate record keeping such as this is excellent preparation for academic research or the workplace.
