Course summary

Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour. The course looks at classic and contemporary studies in Psychology which are compared and contrasted. Examples include eyewitness testimony, language of psychopaths, phobias, IQ testing, obedience, willpower and brain structure of taxi drivers. These areas are developed in Year 2 where we look at mental health, criminal behaviour and sports psychology.
