Logic / Philosophy
Course summary
Philosophy is the systematic study of life’s big questions; such as how do we know we exist? How do we know anything? Is there a God? What is consciousness? What is the right thing to do? We look at the theories posed by philosophers regarding these questions. This A Level is designed to develop skills of analysis and evaluation through an examination of arguments and evidence put forward by philosophers. You will enjoy the course, if: • You are looking for a course that is rigorous, challenging and academic • You enjoy discussion and debate, reading new ideas and challenging views and theories.
