The qualification provides a varied introduction into Health and Social Care at Level 3. Throughout the course students will build their knowledge of the health and social care sector, the careers within the sector and will also learn and develop transferable skills too. The course is designed to have units of internally assessed coursework and units that are externally assessed via a written exam, therefore providing students of varying learning styles to succeed in the subject. The course is designed for post-16 students who aim to progress to higher education and ultimately to employment either in the Health and Social Care sector or in a specific vocation.
This will require a Merit in Health and Social Care if studied, and grade 4-4 in Science
