Course summary

An essential qualification which could lead into careers in fields such as marine biology, healthcare, forensic science, medicine, dentistry and veterinary science. Biology is identified by selective universities as one of the subjects they prefer applicants to have studied at A Level. Biology is the study of life and is clearly of interest to all. Many current issues and advances in science are Biology related, such as cloning, genetic modification, designer babies and global warming. An A Level in Biology is a clear indicator to universities of a very able student.
