Students considering this course should: • Have an interest in the study of living organisms. • Enjoy carrying out investigations in the laboratory or as fieldwork. • Be interested in the developments of ‘new’ biology topics such as genetic engineering and its impact on society. • Have a sound grasp of mathematics and chemistry and an understanding that these demands will increase in the A2 year.
