Course summary

The Physics A Level course build upon the student’s knowledge and understanding gained during GCSE studies in Physics. Both years are divided into modules but are assessed at the end of the respective courses. In year 12 students study five compulsory units covering a range of physical principles and practical skills. There are an additional 4 compulsory units and an optional block in Year 13 that utilises our departmental specialism, Astrophysics.
