Course summary

Psychologists have an interest in human behaviour and the methods used to investigate it. Ideal for those who are naturally curious about such things as obeying authority, the cause of phobias and criminal behaviour. It is a strongly data-led subject. Topics studied include: Social influence; Memory; Psychopathology; Approaches in psychology; Biological Psychology; Cognition and Development; Schizophrenia; Forensic Psychology; Issues and debates.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs including Maths & English Language: a minimum of three GCSEs at Grade 4 and two GCSEs at Grade 5.
