Business Studies

Course summary

The BTEC Level 3 Business Studies course prepares students to be inquisitive learners. Students look at functional areas of business, marketing and recruitment. The course is made up of some mandatory and some optional units. The choices around these provides a balance of breadth and depth, while retaining a degree of choice for individual learners to study content relevant to their own interests and progression. A qualification in Business Studies is for learners who may be interested in business and view it as a relevant for their higher education pathways. It teaches learners about content whilst also giving them broader skills around prioritising and time management.
