Assessment

The course is accredited by BTEC and each unit is graded Pass, Merit and Distinction. Students will complete a minimum of 14 units over two years of full time study and build a portfolio of assessments. A period of work placement is included during which time students will use and develop skills acquired on the course. Assessments throughout the programme can vary from written assignments, presentations, role plays, in-class tests, developing blogs and other relevant methods as directed by Edexcel RQF guidance. Assessment is predominantly through coursework, with some externally assessed content via exams.
