Assessment

Component 1: Personal investigation/Portfolio 60% Students’ understanding of the exam boards four assessment objectives must be demonstrated in the context of the content and skills presented and of the importance of process as well as product. Photography portfolios and exam work will be marked by the centre and moderated by AQA during a visit to the centre. Component 2: Externally set assignment 40% Non-exam assessment set by AQA, marked by the centre an moderated by AQA during a visit to the centre.
