Paper 1 – (3 hour – open book for Anthology and The Great Gatsby) Othello, Unseen Poetry and a comparison of two poems from the Anthology and The Great Gatsby Paper 2 – Option 2A, Option 2: (2 hours, 30 minutes – open book) Journey’s End, analysis of unseen extract, The First Casualty and The Oxford Book of War Poetry NEA – Non-examined assessment 2500 words. Students will write a comparative critical study of The Tempest by William Shakespeare and a second text from a suggested list.
