Mathematics

Course summary

Mathematics includes the study of Algebra, Calculus, Geometry and Trigonometry. Additionally, students will study Mechanics (forces and the motion of physical) and Statistics (principles and methods of statistical analysis). Linear A Level: Mathematics is a linear A Level meaning that all the exams will take place at the end of Year 13 and will test all the material that has been covered over 2 years. There is an emphasis on problem solving, modelling and reasoning in the new A Level. Mathematics is the only subject to offer two A Levels in the same field.
