History

Entry Requirements

To study A Level at The South Wolds Academy and Sixth Form you must achieve at least six GCSE passes, two at Grade 6 or above and four at Grade 5 or above At least a Grade 6 in GCSE History is desirable or if History has not been studied at GCSE Level, at least a Grade 6 in English is desirable. A Level History is a great but demanding course. A good level of literacy is required alongside an ability to write at length and an enthusiasm to read widely and independently.
