Course summary

If you have ever asked yourself similar questions about how and why people behave in the way that they do, then this is for you. Positioned between traditional science and humanities subjects, and drawing on many aspects of these areas, psychology can be chosen as part of a large number of A level combinations. Over the course of the two-year exam-based programme, you will cover areas including cognitive, developmental, biological, social and ‘abnormal’ psychology. The ethical implications of psychological research will also be discussed.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 including English and maths. Grade 6 is preferred in maths and science.
