Assessment

Your assessment will consist of two exams at the end of year 13 and a NEA which is a thematic comparison of two texts, one a novel which you can choose yourself and the other a non-literary text which shares a key theme with your novel. This non-literary text can take the form of journalism, autobiography or film script amongst other things. The NEA allows you the freedom to follow something of interest to you and explore how writers use language differently to create meaning.
