Assessment 1: Tsarist and Communist Russia 1855- 1964 – one 2 hours, 30 minutes exam at the end of Year 13 (40%). Assessment 2: The Wars of the Roses 1450-1499 – one 2 hours, 30 minutes exam at the end of Year 13 (40%). Assessment 3: Historical investigation – a 4500 word essay- internally marked, externally moderated (20%).
