Combining classroom theory with practical sport you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of different sporting activities and events. Lessons will vary in style to tailor to the needs of the unit being taught. You will experience group work, independent research, and teacher input along with educational trips and student-led sessions to your peers and younger students. Minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade 4 or above including Maths and English. Grade 4-9 in GCSE P.E. or BTEC Sport Merit or Higher
Units 1 & 2 are assessed through exams. Unit 1 exam is taken in January. All other units are assessed through pieces of coursework which can be presented in a variety of ways depending on the requirements or content of the unit. This can include written or verbal presentations, reports, data analysis, coaching logs, and plans.
