Assessment

There are three exams, each accounting for one third of your A Level. The three exams last 2 hours and are worth 80 marks each. The two underlying themes are: socialisation, culture and identity social differentiation, power and stratification. The exams consist of a range of short answer and extended writing questions. The units covered are: - Education with Theory and Methods (33%) - Topics in Sociology: 2 options such as Families and Households, and the Media (33%) - Crime and Deviance with Theory and Methods (33%)
