Assessment

Year 1: Students will be assessed through a range of methods. This will include a written examination, written assignments and presentations, video evidence and tutor observation records. Unit 1 and 3 are written examination which will be assessed externally by OCR. Unit 2 is assessed through the completion of written assignments internally marked by the class teacher before being externally moderated by OCR. Students have to complete and achieve a minimum of a Pass grade in all of the units to move into Year 2 Year 2: Unit 8 and Unit 17 are assessed through the completion of written assignments internally marked by the class teacher before being externally moderated by OCR.
