Modern Foreign Languages A-Levels are academically rigorous and demanding courses. The Spanish A-Level course enables students to develop and build on the skills learnt at GCSE and aims to enhance employment prospects as well as facilitating foreign travel. It also provides an insight into another culture and society and provides students with a sound basis for further study. Over the two years you will study Spanish Aural, Oral, Reading and Writing skills, as well as Spanish literary texts (or film).
- Grade 6 in Spanish GCSE - Students need a to achieve a minimum of a grade 4 in Maths and one of the English GCSEs, and ideally a GCSE Average Point Score (A.P.S.) of at least 4.0, in order to be able to access any of our Level 3 Vocational and A-Level courses.
70% Written Exam / 30% Oral Exam
