Course summary

Personal research through thread work, drawings, designs, critical analysis, and varied construction techniques and skills, alongside fashion/garment making. Knowledge of the work of artists and designers through critical and contextual studies. Use of textile and design media, such as Photoshop CS5 and Adobe Illustrator. Units are tailored to meet individual creative requirements. Careers in fashion journalism, fashion communication, fashion design and marketing, costume and theatre design, product design, surface design, textile construction, teaching, and other design industry work.
