Course summary

If you want to understand more about the world in which we live, then you will feel right at home studying History. Far from being a 'dead' subject, it makes connections through time and encourages you to use the benefits of hindsight and perspective. You will study three periods of world history: Russia from Lenin the Yeltsin (1917-91), Mao’s China (1949-76 and The British Experience of warfare (1790 – 1918). You will complete a piece of in-depth coursework on historical debates surrounding the holocaust.
