This course is for students with an interest in Business who would like to secure employment working for a Business or setting up their own Business in the future. This is a broad-based qualification that provides you with the opportunity to explore the world of business in a highly practical way. By adopting an investigative approach, a whole range of skills essential for employment can be developed, whilst discovering the problems and opportunities faced by companies today. Students will be studying a number of core and specialised units over the two years, covering business themes such as marketing, finance, human resources and enterprise. Team working, presentation and research skills will also be developed through the delivery of the units. This is a vocational course where students will learn by doing.
