Assessment

Assessed on three written papers, 34%, 34% and 32%. Paper 1: Topics 2 – 5 will be examined in Paper 1 (2hrs) and additionally periodic motion. This is basically all the content taught in Y12. Paper 2: Topics 6 – 8 (2 hrs) without periodic motion. Paper 3: Part A will cover practical skills and data analysis, Topic 1. The 12 Required Practical Activities (RPA) will be examined in this paper. Part B will be the optional topic, Topic 9.
