Entry Requirements

To study A Level at The South Wolds Academy and Sixth Form you must achieve at least six GCSE passes, two at Grade 6 or above and four at Grade 5 or above At least a Grade 6 in GCSE English Language and Literature is desirable. A passion and enthusiasm for reading literature across the genres of prose, poetry, drama and non fiction. A willingness to discuss ideas about texts and explore interpretations of texts with others. An interest in the influences on writers throughout time. A positive work ethos and commitment to learning
