Assessment

Students undertake a project and record and track their learning journey, reflecting on their problem-solving skills and ability to undertake independent research to produce a final piece of work. Students follow a clearly structured process, during which they will plan and research their topic and create a product. This is recorded in a Production Log. The final product of the project can be in one of three formats: a research-based written report, a production (e.g. a charity event, fashion show, sports event etc.) or an artefact (e.g. a piece of art, a computer game, a realised design). The final piece is a presentation delivered to an assessor.
