This course is for students who have studied ICT or Computing in Year 11. It is designed for students who wish to extend their knowledge and understanding of IT and Computing in the modern world.
5+ GCSE Grades A* - C including English and Mathematics. A grade B in Computing or Merit in IT
Units 1 and 2 will be examined externally by the exam board. Students will have the chance of retaking the exam once during the course if needed. Students must pass the exams in order to achieve a pass overall. The coursework units will be assessed internally by the IT staff and then moderated by the exam board.
