Course summary

It is a comprehensive course, which covers a wide range of literary genres from varying time periods; a course, which enables students to develop their understanding and appreciation of English literature. Component 1: Shakespeare and other drama. Component 2: Two prose texts from a chosen theme. At least one of the prose texts must be pre-1900. Component 3: A study of poetry from varying time periods. Coursework: A comparison of texts with a theme of your choice.
