Then Maths A level is for you A variety of topics are studied building on the work covered at GCSE. These topic areas consist of Pure Mathematics (algebra, trigonometry etc), Mechanics (statics and dynamics) and Statistics (probability and data handling). You will learn new material and the over-arching themes must then be applied along with associated mathematical thinking and understanding.
