Course summary

The UAL Diploma and Extended Diploma in Art and Design Creative Practice, offers you exciting and stimulating opportunities to develop practical skills, and the ability to think creatively and imaginatively within different areas of Art & Design in preparation for a career in the creative industries. Through experimentation with 2D and 3D Fine Art, Graphic Design, Textiles and 3D Design Craft, you will gain an understanding of the distinct characteristics of different Art & Design disciplines before making choices about the creative pathway that you wish to pursue. This is a studio based and practical course that encourages you to take risks, think creatively and explore the possibilities of Art & Design in the 21st Century. You will be expected to complete a work experience placement in either Year 1 or Year 2.
