Art and Design (Fine Art)

Course summary

Within Art, Craft and Design you will select a specialist area of study from Fine Art to Art Textiles. You will be taught the core concept of Art and Design before developing your skills and learning new techniques appropriate to your specialist Area. Both courses are very practical though there will be some written work, especially in the second year of the full course. You will produce practical and critical/contextual work in a range of media and make use of techniques which may relate to drawing, painting, mixed media, multimedia and printmaking.
